Another Great App for Travelers!
I could have used this app when I was leading a group of 10 around the Miami airport looking for a fun place to sit and watch a game, eat some lunch and have a drink while killing a couple of hours on a layover. We killed a couple of hours alright, walking around the entire airport trying to find a place that we could all agree on! Also, if you need a last minute gift to take home to the kids, it will let you know exactly what stores are in which concourse. Gives you gate info and you can check on your flights status as well.
If your looking for a great app to keep all your travel info for upcoming trips in one handy spot on your smart phone or E-reader down load this app.
Just email the info for your flights, hotel or car rental to the app and they are all right there at your finger tips. Includes layover times, flight times, hotel directions, confirmation numbers and more.

Credit Cards in Foreign Countries
I always try to use credit cards when possible while traveling so I can track my expenses and get the proper exchange rate. While in Tahiti one year, I had purchased several black pearl necklaces. When I pulled out my receipt to double check, I found a bunch of numbers I no idea what they said. (Pacific Franc) From then on if I make any decent sized purchase I will write the amount I was supposed to be charged in American Dollars on my receipt and check on my credit card statement when I get it, just to make sure I didn't get charged more than I should have.
I also had a scare once and thought I had lost my credit card. This becomes a bit of a problem when you have no idea how to get a hold of the credit card company to report it lost or stolen. Not that I couldn't eventually find it, but who wants to spend the day trying to track down the proper number while your supposed to be on vacation. It's bad enough stressing out over losing it...
I now keep that number in a place separate from my credit card just in case!
Lastly, don't forget to call your card company BEFORE you leave the country. I have had mine shut down for suspicious activity while on vacation several times...In fact, I think one of them was this Tahiti trip. Who knows, maybe they didn't shut it down because of the location, they must have known I was spending to much money on those pearls!
